T his chapter profiles angel organizations in Cana- da in 2020. It covers the following: organization- al structure, age, fee structure, size (number of mem- bers), gender composition, and investment activity. This data provides helpful insight into the angel ecosystem, however, further research is required to determine how
these characteristics intersect with success rates and diversity of entrepreneurs receiving funding. In addition, further analysis of angel organization membership to in- clude factors such as race and age may provide a deep- er understanding of the angel ecosystem.
