There is considerable diversity in the size of angel organizations.

Women comprised 24% of the members of Canadi- an angel organizations in 2020, a significant increase over previous years (17% in 2019 and 2018, and 14% in 2017). The proportion of women members ranges from 0% (one organization) to 89%, with a median of 14.5%. Three angel organizations each have more than 75% of women members.

Just over three-quarters of the responding angel orga- nizations (76%) have been established for more than five years and 52% have been operating for ten years or more. However, new angel organizations continue to be founded, albeit at a slower rate than in previous years. There is considerable diversity in the size of angel orga- nizations, with membership ranging from 25 or less to more than 100. The vast majority of angel organizations have more than 50 members: 20% have over 100 mem- bers. The significance of larger angel organizations has been increasing over time.
