highest median investment size ($100,000), whereas Life Sciences, in contrast to the period 2015-18, had the lowest median size of early-stage investment ($76,000) (Figure 18B). One particularly large investment in 2019 had skewed the mean investment size of the Other sec- tor ($1.9 million).
There is considerable variation in the mean size of in- vestments between sectors (Figure 18). In 2020, the ICT sector had the highest mean size of investment ($282,000), whereas, in previous years, it had the low- est, or one of the lowest, mean size of investments (Fig- ure 18A). There is much less variation between sectors in the median size of investment. ICT and Services had the
