T here is considerable diversity in the size of organiza- tions, with membership ranging from 10 or less to more than 100 (Figure 5). However, the majority of organizations have more than 50 members, while 32% have between 51 and 100 members, and 23% have over 100 members. New- er organizations are typically smaller. The long-term trend has seen an increase in the proportion of larger organizations and a decrease in the proportion of smaller organizations with 25 or fewer members. Howev- er, the proportion of larger organizations, defined as having over 50 members, was lower in 2021 than in 2020 (55% vs. 72%).
