O ver half of the organizations (66%) that respond- ed to the survey extend membership to corporate entities. Corporate members are typically professional services firms (e.g law, accounting) that may provide sponsorship and other support to the organizations, and typically offer pro-bono services to businesses that are seeking, or successfully raise, finance, with the objec-
tive of developing long-term commercial relationships with them.
Membership fees for individuals range from $250 to $2,900 per year, with seven organizations (58% of those that charge membership fees for individuals) charging in excess of $1,000. The proportion of organizations that
