INTRODUCTION Angel Investment Data Sources
There was an increase in the average size of organiza- tion in 2021. The average (mean) number of members of the groups that reported in 2021 was 330 compared with 270 in 2020. This was a lower figure than 2019 but higher than the 2018 figure. The median number of members has also increased, from 52 in 2020 to 63 in 2021. This is also higher than in 2018 and 2019. The difference between the median and mean reflects the skewed nature in the size distribution of Angel organi- zations, with a handful of large organizations and a con- siderably greater number of smaller organizations.
