In 2022, Ontario startups raised more angel funding than companies in any oth- er Canadian province, an outcome in line with its long- term track record of incubating industry-leading tech- nology firms. Ontario’s robust innovation pipeline can be viewed as a national model, from which learnings can be derived for application in fostering the growth of emerging innovation ecosystems.
