Based in Newfoundland, 3F Waste Recovery ’s technology reduces organic waste from the fish and forestry industries. Industrial waste normally destined for landfills, oceans, or forests is broken down to the molecular level and repurposed as ink for 3D printers. 3F converts organic waste into marketable products through the application of traditional and innovative manufacturing solutions. For example, the shells, fins, bones and skins of locally-sourced seafood are processed into high-value ingredients added to consumer goods including supplements, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals.
