In Summary
We find ourselves at a unique moment in time. Econom- ic turbulence, geopolitical tensions, and the COVID-19 pandemic’s lingering effects have placed Canada’s en- trepreneurs under significant pressure, but have also provided us with an opportunity to build a cleaner, more inclusive, and resilient economy. Increasing the resourc- es available to early-stage entrepreneurs will help build a robust pipeline of high-growth companies — safe- guarding the government’s investments in the innova- tion economy while catalyzing a new wave of innova- tion, economic prosperity, and positive change.
