About NACO
National Angel Capital Organization (NACO) NACO incorporated as a non-profit in 2002 to promote and help create a vibrant Angel community in Canada by providing Angel investors with a secure environment to network and learn from their peers. Since then, NACO has evolved to become the national champion of Canada’s Angel investing community, working with individuals, groups and industry partners by supporting best practices and professional development, informing policy in support of the early-stage funding ecosystem, and providing trusted intelligence on Canada’s Angel investing community. With more than 3,000 members across the country, NACO is building a strong and vibrant Angel community in Canada by making meaningful connections across borders, sectors and asset classes. Members are a diverse group of individual investors, Angel groups and other industry partners that provide support to early- stage companies. NACO Academy NACO Academy is an investor-education program designed to develop higher levels of knowledge and skill among Angel investors across Canada. With its specialized Canadian content, the Academy’s ultimate goal is to increase the efficacy of Angel investments in growing entrepreneurial firms. Angels will be able to reach higher levels of success and impact through a comprehensive curriculum of course modules covering the most important aspects of Angel investing activity.
