Building a Brighter Future for Yukon Entrepreneurs: Inside NorthLight Innovation and Yukonstruct

Y ukonstruct is a non-profit society that operates a makerspace and coworking space in downtown Whitehorse, known as NorthLight Innovation. The orga- nization's goal is to foster a welcoming, diverse, inclu- sive, and respectful environment that encourages com- munity, collaboration, inspiration, mentorship, ideas, connection, and fun. NorthLight Innovation is the first community-driven in- novation hub north of 60 in Canada, offering a commu- nity workshop, a bright and vibrant shared workspace, and entrepreneur programming and support to help Yu-
koners launch and grow their businesses. The members of Yukonstructâs community work in a diversity of sec- tors and include students, startups, creatives, develop- ers, innovators and more.
