Comparing the investment activity of angel organiza- tions based on the proportion of women investors re- veals that those angel organizations with 25% or more women members – and, in particular, angel organiza- tions with the highest proportion of women members (90% and above) make smaller investments than those with a larger proportion of men. Angel organizations with the highest proportion of women also make few- er investments. However, angel organizations with 25% or more women investors make significantly more in- vestments than the average for all angel organizations, although the difference between mean and median val- ues indicates this is skewed by a small number of very active angel organizations (Table 3).
