Size of Organizations: Membership Numbers 2.5
T here is considerable diversity in the size of orga- nizations, with membership ranging from less than 10 to more than 100 (Figure 5). 47% of the angel orga- nizations have 50 or fewer members; 31% of angel orga- nizations have over 100 members. The long-term trend has seen an increase in the proportion of larger orga- nizations and a decrease in the proportion of smaller organizations with 25 or fewer members. However, this trend has gone into reverse, with the proportion of larg- er organizations, defined as having over 50 members, lower in both 2021 and 2022. This might be linked to the requirement, noted earlier, of angel organizations to participate in the survey when receiving NACO funding.
