T he majority of angel organizations – 71% - charge annual membership fees for individual members. Fees range from $250 to over $1,000 per year, with just over half (53%) of these angel organizations charging more than $1,000. Just over 60% of organizations that responded to the survey extended membership to cor- porate entities, with 81% of these angel organizations charging their corporate members a fee. Fees for cor- porations are typically higher than those for individu- als: with one exception corporate membership fees are in excess of $1,000 a year. The highest fees reported — both by the same organization — were $3,125 for
individual membership and $5,000 for corporate mem- bership.
Note: there are seven organizations that offer both indi- vidual and corporate membership.
